Hello everyone. It's Sarah - the office manager.
As many of you who have been into our office recently may know, my husband and I are expecting our first child this coming Spring. We found out on Friday that we are going to have a little GIRL! I am so excited for this next chapter, and look forward to staying at home with our little munchkin once she's born. Being a stay-at-home-mom has been something I have always hoped I could do when the time came to have little ones.
I feel very blessed to be able to take this time to spend with our daughter while she is young. However, I will really miss seeing all our wonderful patients that I have gotten to know so well over the nine years since I started working at my dad's dental practice. In that time I have been the office cleaning lady, a front desk assistant, a dental hygienist and our office manager. I know and love our practice well and will miss the day-to-day hustle and bustle. I keep teasing Cindy, that I will pop in with the baby when everyone least expects it to make sure everyone is behaving.
If you see me around Windham or the Greater Portland area, please don't hesitate to say hello! I plan to work up until baby girl decides to make her arrival - so you all aren't getting rid of me just yet.
Here's a picture of our little girl from week 12 - she was too wiggly for her last photo shoot on Friday and we couldn't get a great picture of her beautiful face (I am a little biased!).
In the meantime, if any of you know someone who would be a great fit for our practice for the role of office manager - encourage them to submit a resume to peartree@maine.rr.com or through Indeed.com. Previous experience in the dental field would be helpful - as you can imagine it makes the transition much easier. I want to make sure I leave you all in the best of hands. And of course, Cindy will still be here and help to make sure everyone is very well cared for at the front desk!
See you all at your next appointments.
Best, Sarah
